International Trade & Market Entry
Review UK export controls and sanctions implications for a transaction with goods, technology, counterparties and end use assessed.
UK export controls and sanctions can affect goods, software, technology, services, finance and particular destinations or parties. Screening a company name alone does not establish that a transaction is permitted.
We coordinate the transaction file for appropriate legal and trade-control specialists. Ownership and control, end users, routing, technical classification and the scope of restrictions are assessed. Financial sanctions and trade-control permissions are distinguished; an exception or licence for one restriction does not automatically resolve the others.
Provide technical descriptions, parties, ownership, contracts, destinations, end use and logistics or payment routes. The deliverable identifies issues, evidence gaps and agreed next steps. Classification opinions, licence applications, legal advice and ongoing screening are separately scoped; no clearance or approval is promised.
Coutts Consultants coordinates the records and the appropriate customs, tax or legal professional. The quotation identifies registrations, assessments, submissions and external charges. Acting as a customs representative or another responsible statutory party requires a separate eligible appointment; authority clearance and commercial acceptance remain independent decisions.
