International Trade & Market Entry
Coordinate Dutch CBAM scope, importer authorisation and emissions-data readiness for relevant EU imports.
CBAM can create authorisation, emissions reporting and certificate obligations for relevant imports into the EU. A customs EORI number or ordinary import declaration does not itself satisfy the CBAM framework.
We coordinate commodity codes, quantities, origin and importer arrangements with the relevant specialists. The current threshold and exemptions are tested for the actual goods; hydrogen and electricity are not assumed to share the mass-based exemption. The review identifies whether the importer or an eligible indirect representative undertakes the CBAM role.
Provide customs records, product codes, volumes, suppliers and available production emissions data. The deliverable identifies scope, authorisation and data gaps and an agreed reporting plan. Verification, certificate procurement, declarations and representation are separately defined.
Coutts Consultants coordinates the records and the appropriate customs, tax or legal professional. The quotation identifies registrations, assessments, submissions and external charges. Acting as a customs representative or another responsible statutory party requires a separate eligible appointment; authority clearance and commercial acceptance remain independent decisions.
