International Trade & Market Entry
Coordinate UK EORI requirements, customs onboarding and the responsibilities of the business and its customs representative.
An EORI number identifies a trader for customs purposes; it is not an import licence, VAT registration or proof that a shipment meets all controls. GB and Northern Ireland arrangements must be assessed for the actual movements.
We coordinate company identifiers, establishment and planned routes, including whether a GB or XI EORI is required. The scope identifies declaration access, representation, commodity information and any separate permissions. Appointing an agent does not remove every importer or exporter responsibility.
Provide business and tax details, goods, origins, destinations and proposed logistics arrangements. Agree who supplies classifications, values and origin evidence. Customs declarations, valuations, licences, duty planning and historic errors are separately included or quoted.
Coutts Consultants coordinates the records and the appropriate customs, tax or legal professional. The quotation identifies registrations, assessments, submissions and external charges. Acting as a customs representative or another responsible statutory party requires a separate eligible appointment; authority clearance and commercial acceptance remain independent decisions.
