Regulatory, Compliance & Licensing
Coordinate UK payment institution or e-money authorisation readiness with the business model, permissions and application evidence reviewed.
UK payment services and e-money activity can require different FCA permissions. A company registration, bank account or overseas licence does not itself permit the proposed UK regulated business.
We coordinate the perimeter assessment and specialist workstreams for the actual service flows. The review identifies the appropriate authorisation or registration route, governance, capital, safeguarding, financial crime controls, systems and outsourcing evidence. Small-institution routes and payment initiation or account information services require their own assessment.
Provide business plans, group ownership, transaction flows, funding, managers and proposed technology or partners. The deliverable identifies requirements and gaps and coordinates agreed application work. Operating the regulated service, holding client funds and ongoing compliance are separately arranged.
Coutts Consultants coordinates the readiness assessment, evidence and appropriately qualified specialist work. The quotation identifies deliverables, unresolved gaps, professional charges and authority fees. Relevant authorities retain their decisions; the report does not certify every compliance obligation or replace the client’s ongoing responsibilities.
